Constellation of Orion:
The Babylonian star
catalogues of the Late
Bronze Age named
“Orion” the constellation
as well as the Book of Job.
Orion had the meaning of
True Shepherd. Hanging
from Orion's belt is his
sword, consisting of the
multiple stars called the
Trapezium and the Orion
Nebula. This spectacular
object can be clearly
identified with the naked
eye as something other

Job 9:9 “Who makes the Bear, Orion and the Pleiades, And the chambers of the south;”
Job 38:31-33 “Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades, Or loose the cords of Orion? “Can you lead forth
a constellation in its season, And guide the Bear with her satellites”? “Do you know the ordinances of

the heavens, Or fix their rule over the earth”?
In Job, both Orion and the Pleiades star cluster were named. The Pleiades has a meaning of crowns or diadems.
A crown is worn as a sign of royalty or authority. When the crown is seen together over the sun and moon, it
represents Israel. The number in the cluster represents the number of tribes or kingdoms on the earth in which
God has given authority. We will see later how this crown is used to give authority to the Antichrist.
The Pleiades M45 Star cluster Hubble Telescope (NASA)
It can be seen with other heavenly bodies and is associated with authority being given to this heavenly sign. The
Pleiades also known as the Seven Sisters and Messier 45, (named after French astronomer Charles Messier, 1771)
is a conspicuous object in the night sky with a prominent place in ancient mythology. The cluster contains
hundreds of stars, of which only a handful are commonly visible to the unaided eye. The cluster appears in the
Constellation of Taurus, the “Bull.” The “Bull,” symbolizes a priestly sacrifice on the altar.
