1 Thessalonians 5:4-6 “But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a
thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; so then let us not

sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober.”
What does scripture tell us about this event? It states that we will get imperishable bodies and become immortal
beings. Many teach that during the Rapture those who are alive will just vanish and become spirits. This is
contrary to the Bible. Christ was seen on the earth once He was resurrected. The Old Testament saints were seen
in the Holy City after Christ’s resurrection. The believer’s glorified body is a visible body. This visibility will be
necessary for His chosen to serve Him on this earth during His Millennial Reign. King David will reign in a
visible body over Israel when Christ reigns over the entire earth, which is mentioned in Ezekiel 37:24-28. Hence,
this is the reason why Christ is given the name “King of Kings and Lord of Lords” in Revelation 19:16. But, prior to
the Rapture there will be those in natural bodies, alive on the earth and those in the spirit, who are in Heaven.

1 Corinthians 15:40-44 “There are also heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the
heavenly is one, and the glory of the earthly is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another
glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory.

42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body;
43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;
44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a

spiritual body.” (body is not in the original Greek manuscript)

Scripture describes the gathering of the Elect from the farthest ends of earth and Heaven in Mark 13:27. It is
completely apparent that the heavenly sign of the light tunnel was the Rapture and we should be on the alert. The
Rapture occurs over a very short period of time. Believers from this earth are taken to Heaven in glorified bodies
and the skies turn a golden amber color for the Glory of God. Does this represent God’s Shekinah Glory?
