This is a description of the Antichrist coming to power in Daniel. We also know from the heavenly signs that
Mercury represents communications: thought processes, ideas and sensory information from both unconscious
and conscious sources. If this is a sign of the Antichrist in Daniel with his communicating smoothness and
intrigue, does it sound like him from what we have been taught? Remember, Mercury’s glyph has horns.

Daniel 11:22-23 “The overflowing forces will be flooded away before him and shattered, and also the
prince of the covenant.“After an alliance is made with him he will practice deception, and he will go up

and gain power with a small force of people.”
Daniel continues to describe his attributes as an individual that practices deception. Otherwise, he will bring an
alliance between him and the warring nations of the North and the South. It states that he will gain power with a
small force of people. Could this small force of people be one of the coastland nations such as Israel or another
coastal country such as Syria or Egypt? Paul said there would be a time when the Antichrist would be revealed.
Once the Rapture of those, who are sealed in the Holy Spirit are removed, he will be revealed. We also know
from scripture in Daniel 7:2-3 that the Antichrist comes from a coastland nation. We know through scripture
that this covenant will be signed and agreed to at the beginning of the seven year Tribulation period. Take a look
at the top cover picture of this book. It has the symbol in the cone of the cross shield representing the Antichrist.
