1970s. For most of the terrain east of Kuiper, toward the limb (edge) of the planet, the departing images are the
first spacecraft views of that portion of Mercury's surface. Mercury is the innermost planet in our Solar System.

Mercury is the closest to the sun and is one of the hottest in temperature (800 F).
Mercury, represented by the horned glyph is a sign of the Antichrist. The beast or the man of lawlessness is
described in the Bible who is empowered by Satan. Is the Antichrist, the Islamic Mahdi? The Mahdi (Arabic:
يﺪﮭﻣ mahdī) is the prophesied redeemer of Islam who will rule for seven years before the Day of Judgment. The
definitive term “mahdi” means “the rightly-guided one”. The Mahdi is not mentioned in the Qur’an, but rather in
Hadith. Some suggest he will come when the Arabian tribes are resettled into Syria. They also anticipate the
Mahdi will lead the rising people of Yemen back to their country. He would be unknown in the world until Allah
wills it. This is similar to the Apostle Paul’s statement “so that in his time he will be revealed.” He will deny the Deity
of Christ as being the only son of God. This is exactly how the Antichrist is defined in 1 John 2:22. Notice, the
timeframe of the peace alliance was 2384 AD. This sign of war with the uprooting of northern power occurs in
2391. It will be less than seven years. “Some years” are used in the prophecy in Daniel 11:6, Daniel 11:8 as well as
in Daniel 11:13. Is there a description of the Antichrist in Daniel? Daniel 11 goes on to describe a “despicable
person” arising whom the honor of kingship has been granted. The Antichrist is given authority later in time. He
has not been revealed to the world as of 2391 AD. This will come later when the “despicable person” takes over in a
“time of tranquility” and seizes power by “intrigue.” He will be revealed in 2393 AD. Then, his kingly authority will
be given prior to the desecration of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem (see the book entitled: “Heavenly Signs –Grand
Design for Christ’s Return”). The Antichrist is one who must deny the Deity of Christ, like the Mahdi. Could the
Mahdi be the Antichrist or the False Prophet as prophesied in the Bible? Both of them will deny Christ as the
              son of God.

Daniel 11:18-21 “Then he will turn his face to the coastlands and capture many. But a commander will
put a stop to his scorn against him; moreover, he will repay him for his scorn. “So he will turn his face
toward the fortresses of his own land, but he will stumble and fall and be found no more. “Then in his
place one will arise who will send an oppressor through the Jewel of his kingdom; yet within a few days
he will be shattered, though not in anger nor in battle.“In his place a despicable person will arise, on
whom the honor of kingship has not been conferred, but he will come in a time of tranquility and seize
                                       101
              the kingdom by intrigue.”
Daniel is stating that the king of the North will wage war against the coastland nations and “capture many.” This
could include Lebanon, Syria, Libya and Egypt. Egypt is the land where the gold has been taken from the
northern empire, the United European nations. We know that he has already established a peace treaty with the
nation of Israel, which is referred to as the “Jewel of his Kingdom” which is the city of Jerusalem in the “Beautiful
Land” of Israel. Nevertheless, a stop to this capture of the coastland nations will occur when his army
commander puts an end to the war. Daniel states “But a commander will put a stop to his scorn against him; moreover, he
will repay him for his scorn.” It states that after a few days he will be shattered but not in a battle and a “despicable
person” will arise into power and seize the kingdom. We know through Daniel that “he will come in a time of
tranquility and seize the kingdom by intrigue.”

The Hebrew word for “intrigue” is תוֹקַּלְקַלֲח chalaqlaqqoth; smoothness:—hypocrisy, intrigue, slippery, slippery
