It is astonishing to find the False Prophet performs a great sign by “making fire come down out of heaven.” Fire is
what God has reserved for both beasts – the Antichrist and the False Prophet. Yet, it is not their time.
Revelation 19:20-21 “And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs
in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who
worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone. And
the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse, and all the

birds were filled with their flesh.”
God will finally seize both the Antichrist and the False Prophet, who deceived the world with their signs, and
cast them into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone. This will occur after the second coming of Christ to
the earth. The Antichrist deceives men; but evil men attempt to hide from God during this time.
Day of the Lord
The Prophet Isaiah predicts this event as well as the Apostle John. Isaiah also describes the Day of the Lord as
“The sun will be dark when it rises” and “men will go into caves…. before the terror of the Lord.”
Isaiah 13:9-10 “Behold, the day of the LORD is coming, Cruel, with fury and burning anger,
To make the land a desolation; And He will exterminate its sinners from it.
10 For the stars of heaven and their constellations Will not flash forth their light;
The sun will be dark when it rises And the moon will not shed its light.
11 Thus I will punish the world for its evil And the wicked for their iniquity;
I will also put an end to the arrogance of the proud And abase the haughtiness of the ruthless.
12 I will make mortal man scarcer than pure gold And mankind than the gold of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, And the earth will be shaken from its place
At the fury of the LORD of hosts In the day of His burning anger.”

Isaiah 2:19-21 “Men will go into caves of the rocks And into holes of the ground
Before the terror of the LORD And the splendor of His majesty, When He arises to make the
earth tremble.
20 In that day men will cast away to the moles and the bats
Their idols of silver and their idols of gold, Which they made for themselves to worship,
21 In order to go into the caverns of the rocks and the clefts of the cliffs
Before the terror of the LORD and the splendor of His majesty, When He arises to make the
earth tremble.”

The sun is eclipsed by the largest planet Jupiter on July 2393 as well as the moon. The sun is dark when it rises
over the earth after the Day of the Lord has begun. This scripture in Isaiah parallels the scripture of John in
Revelation. The description prior to the Day of the Lord is also the sun becomes “black as sackcloth.” This event is
during the opening of the sixth seal. In Revelation 6:15, it goes on to make the statement “every slave and free man
hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.” This parallel the statement made in Isaiah of “men will go
into caves.” This shows from scripture that the Day of the Lord begins after the opening of the sixth seal.
