CHAPTER 12: LAMB’S WRATH- 7 Seal
The Wrath of the Lamb is described in Revelation at the end of chapter 6 as being imminent and recognized by
man during the End Times. For man will attempt to hide from God and from the Lamb. In the heavens, we will
see the Lion, represented by the Constellation Leo and Jupiter, the Messiah appears during the Great Tribulation.
Revelation 6: 16-17 “and they said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from
the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;
17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

It isn’t hard to believe that judgment will be coming from the Lamb, which is Christ Jesus. Because in the
scripture it says that all judgment is given to the Son, Christ, which is mentioned in the Gospel of John.
John 5:22 “For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son,
23 so that all will honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does
not honor the Father who sent Him.”
24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life,
179
and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.”
It is interesting to find the authority given by the Father to the Son is for judgment. It is followed by the
statement of those who believe in Him will have eternal life and will not come into judgment. This Wrath of the
Lamb will follow after the Rapture of the believer, who has gone into heaven in a glorified body. The scripture
tells us in Romans we will be saved from the Wrath of God.
Romans 5:9 “Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath
180
of God through Him.”
We do know from scripture the resurrected body is an imperishable body. This is confirmed in scripture with the
statement that the souls (spirits) in heaven were given white robes; however, they are not wearing the robes since
they do not have bodies until the resurrection. This is seen in Revelation with the view of the martyred souls in
heaven. After the Rapture, the event called “A Multitude from the Tribulation” is seen with people who are clothed
in white robes. Therefore, they must have recently received their glorified bodies due to the Rapture. This
happened after the opening of the sixth seal with cosmic disturbances occurring and prior to the opening of the
seventh seal which begins the Trumpet Judgments. It is the reason for the statement “rest for a little while longer.”
Revelation 6:11 “And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should
rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be
killed even as they had been, would be completed also.”

Revelation 7:9 “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count,
from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the

Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands;”
