countries based on the threat of terrorism in this world. Those three countries are Iraq, Afghanistan and
Pakistan. The fourth nation of Iran is a nuclear threat to the world with their preparation of nuclear weapons
deployment in that country. The greatest threat by Iran is to the nation of Israel. Israel is not one of the Islamic
nations in the middle-east. Notice the statement “he is strong because of his riches.” In both 2011 and 2012, Germany,
a European nation, has financed billions of Euros ($130 billion in Feb. 2012, out of $430 billion fund) to get
Greece out of economic distress. Does the king of the North come out of Germany in the End Times? Does
Germany become the warring power in the End Times much like it did in World War I and II? History seems to
repeat itself over time. Germany today is the strongest European nation from an economic aspect as well as from
advanced technology. Germany must bring a unity to Europe with its financial strength and it must relate to the
prophetic statements in Daniel 7:19-20. Daniel 7:20 describes the seven remaining Barbarian tribes in the Roman
Empire which are the Anglo-Saxons-English, Burgundians-East Germanic-French Bourgogne or Huns, Franks-
Germanic tribes or French, Lombards-Italians, Suevi-Portuguese, and Visigoths-Spanish. The three historic
tribes that fell were: Heruli, Ostrogoths and the Vandals. All tribes have Germanic roots in the Roman Empire
described in Daniel 7:20. This is a prophetic scripture. Therefore, the northern King must come from the United
European nations. The southern king represents a coalition of Islamic nations to make up the New Persian
Empire. We will see in Daniel the King of the South forms an alliance. Is this to match the northern king forces?

Could it be that these horsemen who Michael, the Archangel describes in Daniel 11:40 “the king of the North will
storm against him ...… with horsemen” are the horsemen that John describes in Revelation? The horsemen are
mentioned in the opening of the first four seals in Revelation 6:1-8. Paul in the passage below is referring to the
Antichrist, which many Bible scholars believe is the first horseman described at the beginning of the Tribulation.

2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 “And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. For the
                                                                                                              87
mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains….until he is taken out of the way.”
The First Seal—Rider on White Horse
Revelation 6: 1:2 “Then I saw when the Lamb broke one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living
creatures saying as with a voice of thunder, “Come.” I looked, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on
                                                                                                  87
it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.”
Is the rider on the white horse either the king of the north or south because he conquers to conquer, or is he the
Antichrist, the fourth beast, which is mentioned in Daniel 7? The truth is revealed by Apostle Paul’s statement:
“you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed.” We can now understand that the rider on the
white horse is not the Antichrist. It is not his time to be revealed prior to the beginning of the Tribulation, the
opening of the first seal. This is further confirmed in Zechariah 6:6 where the white horses follow the black
horses “going forth to the north country.” In Daniel 11:21, it makes the statement “in his place a despicable person will
arise,” which is the Antichrist. By the time of this prediction in Daniel 11:40, the Antichrist has become king. The
pale or ashen horseman must to the “despicable person,” who is the Antichrist. In Revelation 13:5, the Antichrist
received “authority to act for forty-two months was given to him” at the middle of the Tribulation period. A white horse
can be used as a symbol of peace. In Daniel 11:6, the princess of the South will bring a “peaceful arrangement” to
the northern empire. Is this rider the princess? Christ is seen riding on a white horse in His Second Coming in
Revelation 19:11 because He will ultimately bring peace to this earth during His Reign. The black horse must
represent the kingdom of the North that retaliates and attacks the well-fortified city of the South. The red horse
represents the princess’s own descendant who attacks the United European nations and breaks the peace.

Revelation 19:11 “And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called
                                                                             87
Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war.”
