CHAPTER 6: RUMORS OF WAR
The Siege and Destruction of War (GNU)
Didn’t Christ describe that there would be rumors of war prior to the End Times? Christ said “not to be frightened
those things must take place” and “nation will rise up against nations” on the earth. He also makes the statement that
these things are merely the beginning signs of the End. He compares them to birth pangs. When we get closer to
the beginning of the Tribulation, the events will accelerate. In both Mark and Matthew Christ says the following.
Mark 13:7-8 “When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be frightened; those things must take
place; but that is not yet the end. “For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against
kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places; there will also be famines. These things are

merely the beginning of birth pangs.”
Daniel writes about the wars in the End Times, which is described by Michael the Archangel of the Lord.
Daniel 10:14 “Now I have come to give you an understanding of what will happen to your people in the
latter days, for the vision pertains to the days yet future.”

This means that it is not of our current age or the age of Antiochus of approximately 175 BC, but relates to the
End Times or Final End Days or End of the Age. This statement is in reference to the prophecy in Daniel 11.
