the tribulation” most pre-tribulation scholars believe that these passages relate to Christ’s return to reign upon this
earth. These scholars seem to miss the statement we will see the “SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE
SKY.” In the Rapture, Christ never comes down on the earth. When Christ comes to reign, He will come as the
Lion of Judah. This is represented by the Constellation of Leo and not Orion that symbolizes the “True Shepherd.”
The Lion symbolizes Judgment and God’s Wrath. The opening of the Seventh Seal starts God’s Judgment. The
Rapture occurs prior to judgment, since believers are saved from His Wrath which is stated in Romans 5:9.

Matthew 24:29-31 “But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND
THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the
heavens will be shaken. “And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the
tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY
with power and great glory. “And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL

GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.”
Please notice that in both accounts the “sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light.” It also says that “after
the Tribulation of those days….” It appears that our timeline is correct because we have seen the beginning of the
Tribulation period. There must be darkness on the earth and “the moon will not give its light” prior to the Rapture.
This will be followed by the gathering of His Bride from the earth. His Bride is symbolic of those who have been
sealed with the Holy Spirit, who are true believers. It includes both those alive on the earth and those dead in
Christ. The dead in Christ are those who are in the spirit in Heaven. Therefore, it makes the statement in Mark
“from the farthest end of the earth to the farthest end of heaven.” His Elect become His Bride in their glorified bodies.
Luke 17:24 makes a statement relating to “like lightning” that flashes out of one part of the sky will be the “Son of
Man in His Day.” We can see in the next image and on page 21 the appearance of “like lighting” in the skies. The
light cone changes into the light tunnel in a flash of time. It strikes the earth, as like “in a moment, in the twinkling of
an eye.” But, this moment is referring to the time it takes to change into glorified bodies.
