The above heavenly sign is given by God. Venus is the goddess of love. “Love” is actually a simplistic
interpretation of Venus. Most important is that it is also the sign of a woman, who was named after a goddess of
love. The woman represents Israel. We have numerous references to the “woman” in scripture. God showed love
over and over again for His chosen people, Israel. This event occurs in the Constellation of Leo, which
represents a Lion. Leo, the Lion, represents the God of Judah, also the God of Israel, as we will see in scripture.

ruled by Venus. It is also the symbol of female or woman.
Venus, the second planet from the sun, is named for the ancient Roman goddess of love and beauty. The planet
— the only planet named after a female — may have been named for the most beautiful goddess because it

beauty, fertility, prosperity and military victory. In ancient times, Venus was once thought to be two different
stars, the evening star and the morning star.

Venus is a dim world of intense heat and volcanic activity. Similar in structure and size to Earth, Venus' thick
toxic atmosphere traps heat in a “greenhouse effect.” The scorched world has temperatures hot enough to melt lead.
Glimpses below the clouds reveal volcanoes and deformed mountains. Venus spins slowly in the opposite
