The message is clear and precise in which a command is given by an angel most likely the Archangel Michael,
who is the specific guardian over Israel and the Jews. To summarize, the angel is saying do not pour out God’s
wrath on the remnant of 144,000 which are first sealed for the protection from the subsequent judgments to
occur. We will find the true meaning of the seal that is written on their foreheads in Revelation 14.
Revelation 14:1 “Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one
hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written on their
156
foreheads.”
It is written on their foreheads both His name, which is Christ, and the Father’s name. It is a double seal, which
could be from the Trumpet Judgments as well as for the Bowls of Wrath. We will also find out that God will
protect Israel from Satan and the Antichrist when they go into the wilderness, which is seen in Revelation 12:13-
17. This is in contrast to those who receive the mark of the beast “in their right hand or in their foreheads” in
Revelation 14:6. However, one day the Antichrist will be defeated. This double seal seems to provide greater
protection than the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit doesn’t protect the saved from the martyred events or from evil
in the world. The Apostles were martyred as well in their day. Nowhere in the Bible are 144,000 called
evangelists. This has been popularly proclaimed by many churches. Remember, the Two Witnesses are present
from the beginning of the Tribulation to declare the Truth. There is also the question of whether they are
regenerated and saved. Nevertheless, they are called the bond-servants of our God, which is equivalent to being called
the bond-servants of Christ who were saved prior to the Rapture. What is abundantly clear to our understanding
is that they were to be sealed. Is it the Two Witnesses or an angel of God that does the sealing? The scripture
says “another angel” having “the seal of living God” cried out. The scripture doesn’t say who does the actual sealing.

It isn’t hard to believe that judgment will be coming from the Lamb, who is Christ Jesus. In scripture, it says that
all judgment is given to the Son, Christ. This is mentioned in the Gospel of John. This will bring honor to both
the Son and the Father. It is interesting to find the authority given by the Father to the Son for judgment. This
visible world was created by and for Christ to reign upon in righteousness. Therefore, it is for Him to judge.
